went to raffles city to catch a lift from The Parents. off we went to our favourite weekend hangout.
somehow yesterday's spate of bad luck overspilled to today. there was totally no fun at all with the one-armed bandits. switched to looking at others playing table games instead. there's the green table for $25, blue for $50.. & hey! there's a red table for $10 blackjack!
so i stood at the only red table, studying how it was played. & when i felt confident, i sat down & changed $100. at least $100 doesnt look 寒酸 here. there was a friendly hongkie lady next to me & we started chatting. i told her this was my first time playing blackjack. she was surprised & said 不像 wor. she gave me quite alot of useful tips & advice, before heading over to the 3-card poker tables.
i stayed on for a little while more until The Parents came over & we went upstairs for dinner. *munch munch*.. ^^
