oooh..
have not been back to raffles place in such a long time. didnt know that they have so much good food around now!
as i walked along the basement of oub centre, first there was the brownie factory - where i was trying hard to make up my mind which brownie cake to bring home. just a few doors down was barcook bakery - the one with the atas chefs making the yummy raisin cream cheese buns! too bad the queue was really long. might take 45 mins just to grab some of those buns. & there wasnt anyone that i knew in the queue.
opposite barcook was the standing sushi bar. hey, turns out they do have seats! but, it's those really high & tiny ones where your butt wont really feel comfortable if you sit there for long. diagonally across was sakae sushi, stil there like old times. then there's delifrance, hidden in a very small corner & not very appetising-looking. next to delifrance was square buns - wow! those little cinammon bon bons with toppings! & right next to them.. *finally*.. was once upon a milkshake. the one that Ah Jie was raving so madly about.
hmm.. as i stood there waiting for her.. are they really that great?
i wondered..
