to calm myself down after the huge mess (not of my own doing), i took a bus down to 四马路 & prayed for a while. felt better right after. headed towards FLS to see if i'm lucky enough for a hair wash. $14 later, my hair was nicely washed & styled. feeling chio & much happier, i was walking back towards Bugis, ready to head over to BP to meet The Wangker when the phone rang.
it was Boss. asking if i had anything on that evening, & if i could make a trip down to RWS to meet that 周生 from Macau. as though you could say 'no' to the Boss right? well, just too bad then. Wangker would have to take a backseat. rather unfortunate, as i was kinda looking forward to meeting up with him again. called him on the phone to explain the situation, & also apologise. he was nice about the whole thing though.
dinner was just porridge, albeit nice fish porridge. to me, the entire 周生 business comes across as iffy. too clandestine for my liking. in fact, we shouldnt even be entertaining thoughts of dabbling in his business at all. unfortunately, the Boss seems to think otherwise as there are really HUGE sums of money involved. *rolls eyes*..
had a nice little chat with Boss when they left. had an even nicer double scoop of gelato thereafter. hey, it's 1 for 1!
at times like this, i wished i had someone to share the 1-for with.. ^^
