the soup was being served, so we all went back to our seats rather anxiously. turns out it wasnt necessary since the soup was so starchy it was crappy. but the roast chicken that came later was rather good. had quite abit of the chicken breast since no one else seemed interested.
after the mango pomelo dessert, we went up to their rooms at hard rock hotel for some chilling out. gee.. some of them were actually munching on bread. seems like it's not just me who's hungry. the ladies were all stripped out of their golden glory & back to their normal do. before long we all bundled up into Yve's car & were on our way to lunar.
hmm.. why not st. james like last year? but they said The Atas One already booked liao. guess she's calling the shots then. we had a cosy little table at lunar, where Jane & i got to talk. realised that i'm out of touch with the happenings in the office. as in, i dont really know what's going on anymore. like why Tang came in crying, why 浪 was in a foul mood, why Tini was flirting so outrageously with 龙 (to the point where it got so shameless, it became off-putting).
finally called it a day at around 4 am. went for some bak kut teh supper, & then followed Jane home. she has this really nice place just opposite, where although just a 4-room, it's really spacious. but i guess i was too tired to think. after a quick shower, i went to bed with eyes almost closed. was wondering, will those thoughts come to deny me sleep? but i guess it was a battle the zee-zee monster won. within 2 minutes, i was sound asleep.
