Ah Jee's big day.
got up early to get ready. took a little time to decide which of the dresses that i rumaged out last night i'll be wearing. skipped the pink frilly frou-frou from ZLL's big day as i didnt have a nice shrug to go over - couldnt bear to expose my flabby arms & round shoulders. passed on the pink suede that i bought from the BL charity bazaar as it ended below my knees - afraid it'll look too auntie. settled on the bright pink dress from RoS that has travelled all the way to Vegas but stil came back unworn. took a while to iron out all the jet-lagged creases though.
luckily, i made a wish before i slept last night, & my hair turned out rather well this morning. off we went to Ah Jee's place to get ready. finally, 吉时到 & he & Min came into the house. first they ate the 汤圆, then they offered tea to the elders. after that it was buffet time & they left for Min's house.
whilst clearing up, Stella showed us the Kinectic on Xbox. *wow*.. FUN !! but it takes photos of us automatically, & some of them looked real silly. stil, good exercise though. my thighs were aching & i was sweating after a few bouts. *whew*..
