took a quicky nap, but woke up even more tired than before. washed up & changed into the society's polo before heading out. didnt manage to catch a lift from Koo Deh as i was nuahing under my duvet earlier, so had to figure my own way over to PMT. turns out to be rather easy. just take mrt all the way to queenstown before changing to a bus that heads into dunearn road.
or so i tot. the bus that was supposed to turn left into dunearn road turned right instead. ended up having to call Koo Deh for instructions on how to walk over. for a moment, i couldnt believe it when he said "you're at the cross-juntion right? just walk against the traffic."
hello.. cross-junction.. traffic from all directions.. walk against WHICH traffic?! *faints*..
the turnout was a little more than what i would have expected. but unfortunately, i didnt really get what rinpoche was trying to say. maybe it's the topic, a little hard to absorb. maybe it's the language, a little hard to understand. or maybe it's just me, who just didnt try hard enough.
oh yes, Uncle Ricky was here too today. but not in his society polo. wah.. so serious ah.. does it mean he doesnt see himself as part of BDC anymore? plus, had on a black face the whole evening. somemore gave Koo Deh a cash donation of $400. i was asking Julia, why, separation fee or alimony ah?
was starving when the talk finally ended after over-running till 10:30 pm. went with Koo Deh & Julia to Adam Food Centre as it was the nearest place for food. had cheng ting & yummy mutton chop.
*chomp chomp*..
